The City Mouse and the Country Mouse

% U" b7 V: t; W1 SOnce there were two mice. They were friends. One mouse lived in the country; the other mouse lived in the city. After many years the Country mouse saw the City mouse; he said, "Do come and see me at my house in the country." So the City mouse went. The City mouse said, "This food is not good, and your house is not good. Why do you live in a hole in the field? You should come and live in the city. You would live in a nice house made of stone. You would have nice food to eat. You must come and see me at my house in the city."

; ^6 r* Y9 Q7 g0 xThe Country mouse went to the house of the City mouse. It was a very good house. Nice food was set ready for them to eat. But just as they began to eat they heard a great noise. The City mouse cried, " Run! Run! The cat is coming!" They ran away quickly and hid.

After some time they came out. When they came out, the Country mouse said, "I do not like living in the city. I like living in my hole in the field. For it is nicer to be poor and happy, than to be rich and afraid."

   He comes up to the cock and says, "I know you can sing very well. Can you sing for me? ''
   The cock is glad. He closes his eyes and begins to sing. The fox sees that and catches him in his mouth and carries him away.

The Monkey Asked for the Moon 猴子捞月

One day,a little monkey is playing by the well.

. E& o" K1 [* z0 c* \9 yHe looks in the well and shouts :

它往井里一瞧，高喊道：

“Oh!My god!The moon has fallen into the well!”

“噢！我的天！月亮掉到井里头啦！”

An older monkeys runs over, takes a look,and says,

Then,the oldest monkey hangs on the tree up side down ,with his feet on the branch .

And he pulls the next monkey’s feet with his hands.

All the other monkeys follow his suit,

And they join each other one by one down to the moon in the well.

He yells excitedly “Don’t be so foolish!The moon is still in the sky!”

我觉得小孩子从小就让他接触英语的话是最好的，小孩子那种自然而然的接受能力是很强的，但小孩子的英语学习不提倡只有记记背背，很容易让小孩产生抵触心理。我给我小孩报了可恩学科英语在线少儿英语培训班，上课方式比较新颖，老师都挺有经验的，而且也注重培养孩子的学习兴趣，教学手段也很新鲜有趣，小孩在无形中就学会了很多英语表达。
